After a well-received release on Figure SPC in 2009 and Figure, with 'Berlin Music City,' last year, 2011 delivers a concept-driven album with 10 original tracks. If you were a fan of Ben Klock's 'One' or Dettmann's 'Dettmann,' you can put Bosco's 'My Inner Dimension' on your to-listen list.

And with a recent track on the Detroit-based SCAN7 compilation - 'Techno Brings People Together Volume 1' - he also contributed to the official tribute album to the late, great Aaron-Carl, also from Detroit. You can hear "Ambient In My Street" on Roberto's Soundcloud account as well.

Roberto Bosco Releases Second on Len Faki's Figure

This week alone has been very good to Roberto Bosco. With gigs coming up at three highly reputable European clubs (soon to be announced!), he has also put out his second release with Len Faki on the veteran's own Figure series. His first on Figure was well received by many, including Resident Advisor. 'Berlin Music City' takes everything - including Faki's label - to a new level of branding by infusing it with Roberto's ever-evolving style. Still a young producer, he continues to release with some of the most reputable veterans in the industry.

The EP's title track features the mysterious vocals of Coppa, who leads us into the break of this heavyweight track with his deep dub-step flavoured drawl. Funky, ecstatic and characterised by Bosco’s raw and crisp sound.

NEW RELEASE :: Adultnapper's 'Monitor' with a rework by MKL is out now on vinyl & digital formats

Adultnapper's original mix of "Monitor" is a minimalist, atmospheric house outing with warm, evocative piano chords. Percussive and synth soundscapes wash over the groove adding a stylish, textured dynamic. Conversely, MKL Vs BGSS (members of the group Brazilian Girls) step onto the scene with a live, organic funkafied jam that steps skillfully through afrobeat and retro disco/funk territory without missing a beat. Available on Beatport since the beginning of March, this weekend marks the physical release of this gorgeous record.

Halcyon recently featured MKL's version of "Monitor," saying: "Despite being a fixture behind the decks at downtown hotspots from Nublu to Cielo, it’s behind the boards where MKL’s unique talent shines brightest. In the studio, MKL is a master of reworks – not remixes – reworks. Remixes can be little more than a snippet of a track laid over a different beat. MKL’s reworks take various forms, but suffice to say, you can put any track in his hands – Femi Kuti, John Legend, anyone – and he will fuse it’s musical DNA with his own sophisticated worldly rhythms and signature afro-inflected groove." Monitor is available on 12" vinyl at the following locations:

NEW RELEASE :: ROBERTO BOSCO 'My Universe' is out now on vinyl & digital formats

Wave Music returns to the fore with a new EP from rising star Roberto Bosco, who takes a step further into the world of deep, dubby and sonically spacious techno. Heavily influenced by 90s German and Dutch electronic music, Bosco filters his take on techno and puts it through a very personal process. His records are made for dark spaces and rumbling sound systems of contemporary nightlife and draw you in to his aural world with equal parts force and sonic seduction.

Still in his early 20s, the young Italian producer has already been handpicked by Len Faki, Orlando Voorn, Samuel L.Sessions and several other imprints (i.e.Klap Klap, Be As One) to release his own material on their labels.

François K regarded Roberto's music as "having an effortless quality; an almost dazzling sense of ease that masks a very strong foundation.” There has been an overwhelming response of feedback from other producers and DJs, and many complement the release, as a whole; some say it to be one of the best that Wave has put out for some time.

‘My Universe’ is a step forward in Roberto Bosco’s productions, and opens up another window into his world. While he’s playing all over his home of Italy, this release also marks his break out to the world as he preps for gigs around Europe, America and the rest of the globe.

PRESS ::: Reviews of BEAT PHARMACY : Wikkid Times Remixes EP

NEW RELEASE on Wave Music :: BEAT PHARMACY :: Wikkid Times Remixes EP
Beat Pharmacy’s ‘Wikkid Times’ album gets the remix treatment from Appleblim & Komonazmuk, John Daly, Deadbeat and Intrusion on this massive EP.

Moeller, whether as Beat Pharmacy, Echologist or his own name, has spent his career releasing on some of the strongest labels in the world. The likes of Rekids, Third Ear, Connaisseur and Echochord have all called upon Moeller’s prodigious, dub-styled talents which is superb testimony to his abilities. Appleblim & Komonazmuk take on ‘Nuclear Race’ feat. Paul St Hilaire first off and create a slow burning dubstep interpretation which layers up gradually from stripped dub atmospherics to a dense, arpeggio laced crescendo. St Hilaire’s vocals drift in and out of the mix which adds to the layering of sounds and creates a mesmerising listen. Irish producer John Daly continues an amazing 2009 with his remix of ‘Time’ feat. Damon Aaron. A lazy house but powerful house beat underpins Daly’s use of chords and stabs while Aaron’s voice is used as an emotive and memorable counterbalance, making it yet another remix hit for the outstanding producer. One half of Echospace, Stephen Hitchell, dons his Intrusion cap for his remix of ‘Sunshine’ feat. Paul St Hilaire. An alias reserved as an outlet for Hitchell’s combination of his love of traditional dub reggae and his more techno excursions, Intrusion means a skanking, white-noise-washed and blissful trip for ‘Sunshine’.

Finally, Wagon Repair artist and engineering wizard Deadbeat carefully twists ‘Ghostship’ and its post apocalyptic lyrics from Spaceape around a low slung house groove. Clattering, loose percussion adds a swagger to cut while subtle, filtered stabs hint at buried melodies throughout. This is a stunning package and features some of the leading lights of dub infused sounds – unmissable.

"Space Angel's"
"Feel Good Right"
CAT: L1M009
Label: Lion1music

Dj Yellow aims straight for the heat of the dance floor with the constant minimalist "Feel Good Right". The flip side, "Space Angels" is a moody atmospheric step to the left, interspersed with sultry dialogue. A big room filler from Berlin to Buenos Aries and all points in between.
